Very belated Birthday Collab with *Chibi-Metal for *Amarena-Berry
The Zheng Family wishes you a warm Welcome to their Restaurant! C:

Whoooooooooow...... I can't believe I finally did it! O_o;
*Amarena-Berry 's birthday was on December 22nd and *Chibi-Metal finished her lineart somewhere in the middle of April, so it took me more than a month to get this finished.
I actually worked hard on this the first two weeks after I received the lineart and even took the time I had during art lessons when I had nothing better to do. But then time and motivation got less again, even though in the end I didn't have much left to do... it only took about 15 more minutes to actually finish the last bits.

In the beginning I planned to color this picture with my Copic Ciao, but then I had to face the fact that I totally lack different blue colors, especially light blue ones, while I have tons of different greens. So I decided to color it with colord pencils instead, which - to my mind - was a good decision.
The only problem I had was the background, because I had no clue how to draw the wallpaper/pattern/whatever we imagined for the restaurant traditionally. But after all I WANTED to draw it as close to what the restaurant should look like as possible. So I decided to try applying a digital background to the traditional work and make it match so that it doesn't look totally off, which I think worked out quite well. Of course, it's not yet exactly what it should look like in the restaurant but it was the best I could do.
Additionally I adjusted the colors of the traditional part by using the Mutiply effect, so that they don't look too pale.

I gotta say, never before did I notice to that extend, how similar Clover and Clay actually are. Okay, I always thought of it as a little weird that both of them ended up having greenish colours, but seeing them drawn in the same style now, I just realised how much their similarity almost kicks Snow out because of her different color and clothes.. xD
But after all, at least each of them has something that makes her different from the others, so~
