Wait 'ol up. Tis' definitely an Avali. You know of Starbound and didn't tell?
One of the best I've seen drawn, may I add. The legs and chest tuff are on point.

I play Avians most of the time (Cough I used to not mod my game cough) -But considering the Avali are at least partially birdlike, and almost equally feathery & fluffy, I do like'em.
Yeah, I used to play Avians too (was planning on playing Glitch but they took out the only head slot I liked on them so I went with the birds) until I came across the Avali. Now they're my favorite race out of all of them and the only reason I play Starbound now, really. XD
I'd probably play the game more than I do if I could figure out how to do multiplayer with the mod installed. Until then, I enjoy roaming the galaxy with my fluffy space raptor.

I saw the birds and stuck with'em since the very beginning. I did toy a bit with the Florans and most recently the Novakid, but my main character's always been a borb. I may get art of her at some point maybe. The Avali are still so pretty, and I do like that they have their own racial blocks and tech, it adds more to their race.
AND! I do know that it's possible to join Steam friend's universes with mods, if they have the same exact mods installed through the Workshop. And some servers have their own modpacks, some including the Avali. You kinda can just join them, and the game will scream at you if there's mod incompatibility. I can tell, I did that with a few friends.
(Good luck convincing Kelly to do that tho.

And yes, I do! That's how I've always imagined the Avali to look like, if they weren't so pixelated in-game. Raptor-like creatures, but with a nice, warm layer of fluff and feathers to endure the climate they're used to. You nailed it. =w=
