Yes, Ashley is a new Assist trophy in Super Smash bros 4. I wished and hoped so much she would be a newcomer and playable. She is for sure the one I hoped for the most being in the fights. So got disapointed she is now a trophy wich means not playable, a bit good news she is in the game looking adorable. Next time Ashley... She and Kamek were my most hoped for characters. I was really hoping for a wizard character. Robin/Rosalina fill this nitch, I suppose...

I hoped for a magician wizard character with wand. Zelda and Ness was pretty much the magicians before bing why I wanted a real one. I just love Ashley but I also like Rosalina so I don't mind her. Too bad both couldn't make it as playable characters so Wario get someone from his game that is pretty cool

Unfortunately, Ninty has said that after Mewtwo that there probably won't be DLC characters. It's pretty early to say, but it seemed pretty definite from what I've read.
Of course, this is through secondary sources, so it may not be accurate...

Just have to wait and see, right now if they say it won't be DLC characters then I believe so. But if it comes then I welcome that. Too bad Ashley is an assist trophy so she can probably not be DLC. I just hope she do a Little Mac if it comes a new one, going from assist to fighter.
