A typical shot that I'm used to doing, but with natural sun light. As said in my chicken curry portrait, I think this could have used a light reflector to brighten the shadows. The food's shadow seems pretty harsh on the plate at the top right. Maybe that's okay?Simple dish: chicken curry from scratch with various spices, garlic and onion simmered in some heavy cream until tender, plated on top of white quinoa.

I like this shot. The light and dark played a contrast and I was actually very focused on the curry and its texture (rather than what's going on in the background). I really like the off-centered structure.
