Sugarbunny83 - Ok, Mario is working in colour, but some of his works, including this one, show what a sea looks like I think.

If you still know it, I'd appreciate the weblink, because the colours you've used look like one of the local companies to where I grew up, so I may know or be able to find out more about the vessel.

Thanks for the reply. There's no actual connection with a West of Scotland fleet there that I can see after all. It was just that you'd used house colours well-used in this area, particularly by the Caledonian Steam Packet Company Limited.

With the reference, I can also say that you've got a good resemblance to the vessel, and a good sea.

in this case i used a simple child led projector Β (320x240 pixels) to transform original picture into watercolor pencil sketch. Simple mechanical work. it's just an exercise to practice watercolor rendering. I treat it as a preparations to do something more artistic, that is far out of reach for me now ... Maybe one day? Β This is method used in architectural workshop to create sketches to present project. Simple, fast, acurate ... (simple - but one needs special equipment, fast - it takes up to 4 hrs to create such painting, acurate - as one can see - not very much ) I've made some films about the technical aspects of my works on Youtube, unfortunately - in polish only ...Β
