With the special ocassion for ths year, here I share with you this drawing.

1923:
Several things happened that year: Germany is occupied by French and Belgian Troops due to a deliver charcoal infringement; the Time Magazine debuts in the United States; the first Constitution of the Soviet Union enters in vigor; the Treatment of Switzerland is signed; a coup-d-etat happens in Spain; Great Britain takes control of Palestine; the Republic of Turkey is formally stablished under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk; the Nazis perpretate a failed coup-d-etat, and Hitler gets arrested (I wish his arrest would be life imprisonment...); the Astronaut Alan Shepard and Maria Callas were born; the King Constantinos I died in exile. However, on a regular October 16th of the 1923, a new animation studios was formed, a company which would bring us several fascinating and amazing stories. It's name: Walt Disney Animation Studios!!!

Founded by Walt and Roy O. Disney, it's consdered as the oldest-running animation studio in the world. It began producing animated shorts (like the ones of Oswald The Lucky Rabbit), for later working in the animated shorts of Mickey Mouse with Steamboat Willie. After years of making animated shorts, they brought length-feature films, starting with Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, based in the tale of the Grimm Brothers, for later working in more films since then, including entering to the world of CGI Animation with Toy Story in the 1995.
For most people, Disney Animation is synonymous with animation, for "in no other medium has a single company's practices been able to dominate aesthetic norms" to such an overwhelming extent. The studio was recognized as the premier American animation studio for much of its existence, and was "for many decades the undisputed world leader in animated features"; it developed many of the techniques, concepts and principles that became standard practices of traditional animation. The studio also pioneered the art of storyboarding, which is now a standard technique used in both animated and live-action filmmaking. The studio's catalog of animated features is among Disney's most notable assets, with the stars of its animated shorts (Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Goofy, and Pluto) becoming recognizable figures in popular culture and mascots for The Walt Disney Company as a whole.

And now, for cellebrating 100 years of their mastership in animation, here's this special drawing.
Mickey Mouse and Oswald The Lucky Rabbit, both with Magician costumes, in front of the iconical Disney Castle. The reason why I put Oswald is due to its bigger importance for the studio, due to he was Disney's first creation. I also put this message here: "The Dreams Will Be Always The Door To Wonderful Stories!!".
