...to know where this is going.

Another week and another piece of artwork for your viewing pleasure.
Seeing as how last week I drew the wholesome a bright Ralxila/Katherine, this week I bring to you the scandalous and dark Kait, or as she now be known as... Kate, oh shock and horror I don’t think the people will be able to live with such a drastic departure.

But some low down on the down low; Initially this piece started out its conception as another frolic down the lanes of ignorant pandering, as a piece of *jollyjack 's Chloe. Cause Bitches love Chloe.
But then I got to her head, and after a couple of tries I just said 'fuck it' and decided on drawing Kait because it was easier.
Whilst Kait’s boobs aren’t supposed to be that big, but she is a negative symbolic representation of Allira's Nymphomania, so it all ends well anyways.
And seeing as how the masses implore me to draw a girl that doesn’t look 'ripped like 80's Arnold Schwarzenegger', I tried to go with a more buxom figure. Tried.

The next big hurdle was drawing her hair, as is drawing large quantities of it are always a pain in the ass. But then it didn’t pester me too much as I drew out her flowing rivers of hair and erased 70% of it because I wasn’t liking the way it was looking.
So I drew in the snakes as something different, and now I know you’re going to ask me; "Mark, do the snakes have only one eye meant as phallic symbols?", and I would say "Yes, yes they are."

But regardless Kait’s main weapon of choice has always been her body, blurring the lines between her sexual and carnal lust of all things.

Now before I fully got into rendering this I did up the piece of Katherine, feeling quite pleased with the results and how quickly I seemed to get it done. So naturally I went into this with a fair bit of hubris, forgetting two things; 1) the Katherine piece was a bust (head, shoulders, top of the boobs) and 2) Kait’s body patterns.
Now I’m never one to half-ass anything so I practically spent a whole day just on her body patterns. Just a subtle reminder of what I’m going to fix in her redesign, maybe tone it down a little.

And the rest is fairly standard stuff, tried to mix in some red with the overall lighting just for something a bit more atmospheric. Although I did the lighting with the intent on it being up in the left hand corner, but when it came to the background it became more of a backlight, so there’s a bit of inconsistency with that.
