Thanks, everyone, for your detailed comments in response to my questions about "How to Draw Manga" books. You provided incredibly helpful information, one and all!Here's a side by side comparison of the establishing "cityscape" spread from Brody's Ghost, Book One. Note that all the signs in the rough are in Japanese; The story was originally to be set in futuristic Tokyo. It is now set in a futuristic city that is never named, a place where people from almost every country on earth live side by side.

Have a question... Do you draw the rough sketch first, and then trace it on another paper, or ink the sketch and then delete the pencil?
