Description
This is the secret of the valley. A roaring waterfall right smak in the middle of the great ravine.This is no gentle beast. You can hear the falls roaring even from atop the forest canopy. Getting inside and under the waterfall itself requires a lot of muscle because the current is really strong. I got the chance to raft my way under the falls pulling on a rope. about 5 meters away from the falls is like being inside a mini hurricane. The falls just discharges so much water that the air is literally violently displaced.
The falls is gushing out of a spring from the granite rock surface. it is clean. like swimming in Evian
it tastes like Evian too

as i go over ur gallery this the title caught my attention..."tinago"...hmm...seems familiar...as i read throught the comments and yeah im right...its the tinago falls in illigan...with a over a hundred stair i think....its been long na kasi hindi na ako nakaponta diyan...

i dont know when was the last time i got there....even though we were just hours aways from iligan...mag ingat ka lang doon...may nababalitaan ako noon na may na wala doon..but that was just speculations....i have no proof...dahil segoro sa lalim ng tubig atsaka sa mga bato...

Oh, the water is very very ... very deep... I love to swim. I actually swam across the basin with goggles... guess what, there's a whole large tree that fell inside the basin (maybe lightning victim, or something) and it can't be seen from the surface! A whole tree. I climbed the rock face, like the local kids do... swam to a small cave near the cataract... you're from CDO? i've also been there

maybe i try visit tinago 1 or 2 year from now..just maybe if time permits...hehehe
white water rafting is so cool....but sadly kahit malapil lang ako hindi ko na try...b-coz of money probs...and sadly i still need to find work...been jobless for months now...

lagi sad ba dool ra man gud kay sa manila...dayon gubotan ko sa manila sa traffic lang daan..arang-arang ra gali dari sa amoa....i hope makabalik ko sa cebu...i like cebu kasi...ok ra siya daghan ma agto an...dili kaayo gubot...u do love to travel kaibigan...

yeah, i try to have a vacation or two every year ^^ I was only there at CDO for one whole day (went to church... and then to that huge mall *Lim Kit Kai*? where i first discovered "Frito-Frito" fried icecream *now i'm over it*) and then went to the pier to board a boat going home to Cebu. I'll try to stay there longer the next time...

I think our countries have a lot in common... this waterfall is awesome. there's a small cave to the left of the falls and i swam across to it. tropical life is beautiful!

The water is so deep in the basin, you'd think the loch ness could live here... plus, it is so clean, i don't mind drinking it.

nope, just around three batches when we were there... a few Korean tourists came by for a photo shoot, and that's it. you can hear the forest birds calling.

This place is primal and sexy. almost uninhabited. It might be good to camp out here but there snakes lurking behind those trees. Mostly non-venomous, thank god.
The water was beautiful. clean spring water. you can drink it like evian. The basin was about at least 50 feet deep (at least).
