so this book hits the comic stands today, so i thought it would be alright to post this art up here
its already been seen online so i don't feel like i'm giving anything away at this point
this is my cover to the MTMTE annual.
it was a lot of fun to work on. i tried a few new things with this image like layout and so on.
when i was first creating this, i had the original 1979 star trek movie poster in my mind, but the image evolved a bit differently and this was the end result.
colours were done as always by my buddy Josh Perez
at first i asked for something simple that wouldn't take him too long to do. he didn't listen to me, and well, i'm glad he didn't
he did and outstanding job on this image. i couldn't be happier
well, i must get back to work

Loving this cover to bits. Got a great 'big movie' feel to it; totally digging the Star Trek vibe. The characters look great as usual, but it's the sheer radiance of the city below against the stars above that wins it over for me. Gorgeous colour work!

That was an excellent look at the Decepticons as a believable faction and cause, particularly from the "poor doomed grunt" side of things.
