I was wondering if anyone would pick up on the 100,100,100. Not planned that's just the way it was.

Very niiice! I can't believe you used a macro lens for this haha.

The 7D performs pretty well in low light! No noise. Looks awesome.

Cheers, the 100mm is also a great telephoto, basically 2 lenses for the price of one.

It will always perform well at ISO 100, start pushing it above ISO 800 and you will see it

KrisVlad In reply to MarkLucey [2012-07-23 04:40:00 +0000 UTC]

Would you recommend a versatile macro or a 35mm prime F/1.8 lens instead?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

MarkLucey In reply to KrisVlad [2012-07-23 04:58:03 +0000 UTC]

Depends on what you want to use it for. If you want to do some macro work then a versatile macro lens, but if you want a human eye view than the 35mm (that's assuming you have a crop camera) otherwise a 50mm if you have full frame.
