Neat! I like the mask and markings on the bottom. Is he suppose to be so thick though? Not just his hind legs but all of him looks very ... not large but like... wide?

Thick yes, but mostly furry :>. Supposed to be like a winter coat to see his coat in full action for a ref?
He's a Canadian Grey/Arctic mix. Made to withstand ice. And icestorms. Just lots of fur ;.
