Description This photo has been taken in an old abandoned house located in Austria. It was a little bit dangerous to walk through that destroyed building, but when i saw this motive i instantly knew that i HAD to photograph it.

Note to everyone who is on my deviantWatch: because of yesterdays "bug" i lost all your latest deviations, so it will maybe take some time to figure out who submitted new pictures to deviantART.

Utter coolness. You've even got the plants growing there.

And that deflated looking chair is so funky!

This gives me a "painting" feel.
Great light.

what an awesome photo, the slight color gradients are really great, but i think the overall quality would be better if you burned the window in the back. I just see the chair as this old slumping over man, who was once a very powerful man. now he looks like a torn up chair.

Wow, this is wonderful! I have a great fondness for abandoned buildings and places, but have never had an opportunity to get photos of them. This makes me even more keen to get some

The lighting in this photo is beautiful, It compliments the settings so well! That chair, old and stylish but now ripped to shreds, being lit from outside via a hole in the wall and plants growing through... it's no nostalgic.

I look at this and the phrase 'Desolation... in style!' comes to mind
Wonderful work

This is a great example of having created the feeling of 'presence in absence'.

Wonderful lighting job; I do love when static objects can feel just as expressive as, and almost emulate the behavior of, people.

I love this image. I like how you have beautified something which conventionally would be considered ugly...

The light is fantastic and the tones look very rich... it looks very inviting, but I bet I wouldn't want to be in there after dark ...

It's more like a scene from imagination than being like anything 'real' and that's what I like most about it... the potential for allegory...

I like this armchair a lot.
I dunno why, but it's an unusual scenery to my eyes to find this in your country. Maybe I've some prejudices about it. All is order and cleanliness in my memories.

Awesome picture! What comes to mind is the image of a throne. The king has long since left and remembers nothing of the glory he once had.

Beautiful capture.

The colors are amazing...

I love the contrast in this... the rot of the entire house... everything falling apart, yet, in the bottom right, something new and beautiful growing from that once was also beautiful.

Well... yeah... maybe I'm reading to much into it, but I love this picture. +Fav

houses like this one are so challenging to walk in and photos like this show you that it well deserved the effort to get in there
