He is celebrating pride as an ally and as a asexual! Just because someone is apart of the LGBTQ+ doesn't mean they are gay, it is much more than that. Apparently Stephen Hillenburg said that SpongeBob is asexual, which is true, sponges are asexual because they reproduce on their own. However, in LGBT it means little to no desire. It can mean something different to other asexuals too. It is a VALID sexuality.
I could go on and on about SpongeBob and how the show has been so important to my childhood and life. One of the reasons why my first career option was cartoonist. I could ramble on for ages, but I guess I can post something else for that.
I was inspired by one of SpongeBob's storyboard revisionists, Pinkietoons , to draw SpongeBob!
