Story:

Waking up in a vast field of grass the pink-haired girl was trying to remember. A weird feeling was comming from their guts, she felt like she lost something terribly important; confused wondering wether she had woken up from a nightmare or is living a dream... or the other way around? well the place was sure lovely to call it a nightmare she thought.

Standing up she looked around, trying to remember what she was doing prior to sleeping here, yet no memories would come to her mind. Where is she, why is she here? She couldn't answer for herself. Checking her bum and brushing her clothes to remove the dirt and grass that was stuck there her eyes stopped on her waist. What is this? she reached to a handle, pulling the object attached to it that was held on by a pocket on her belt. Looking at it closely she was intrigued - what is this? she thought again a finger naturally curling around a small black extension under the object's body, if you could describe it like that. Looking at it she was now trying to move it around, wondering what it was for and how she got it until suddenly she heard small rocks crunching under a foot from behind her and without flinching her body turned to face it and her arm aimed at the general direction the sound was comming from while she activated the object's mechanism instinctly. Weird though? there wasn't anything there. Weirder was how she made it work even though not knowing what she was holding is nor what it was for.
However, as questions accumulated in her mind a sound came out from her belly and she how starving she felt. Looking around she wondered where she could go to stop this pain though she couldn't see anything popping out from that vast plain that could be interesting for her to approach. And so she followed her guts, walking and walking. Thinking that any second she could see something... but seconds turned into minutes and minutes turned into hours. Barely standing up the lady was slowlier and slowlier she fell into inconsciousness are at least close to it, thinking about all the food she'd be so ready to eat. but wait- what are those foods she was listing? the question died as darkness engulfed her vision.

And then she woke up again. Wiping the trail of saliva that was comming out from her mouth she then yawned, tapping away the soft blanket that was over her while a delicious smell was distracting her mind. "huh?" but how did she end up here? ....eh who cares she told herself non-chalently as she stepped out the comfortable bed and let her nose lead her to the source of that smell, entering a room she was probably not meant to as she saw a built woman working around a pot. Minding their own business and humming a song to themselves while at it. A song that our girl was liking and tried humming along as they walked over to see what the pot contained, surprising the woman when she noticed her almost dipping her finger into the hot content and yelled at her to stop, which she did and then stepped away. "Oh- I almost didn't recognize you- You're up already? oh your friend told me you might be hungry when you wake up. I'm sorry the food isn't prepared yet but it will be in a minute. Your friend left a few minutes ago but you can wait them here along with the food umm... how should I call you?" The girl tilted her head looking around "Paprika" she said reading a label. "Paprika? what an original name haha, well sit down, I'll make sure you are the first one served." the woman said and Paprika obeyed right away. hoping on her seat looking around again her gaze stuck at the windowS, looking at the people walking and all the neighboring buildings, the scene changing enough not to bore her in her wait.

Quick enough food was presented before her in a plate she simply dig into like a savage, her head inside the plate finishing it clean in a short time and already requesting second and she was served again. Then the woman asked about her, how come she was so starving, how she had never seen her around and things like that. Listening to Paprika's answers tho the Inn's owner noticed she was just new to this world and advised her to visit particular places of the village that could lead her and get her started on this new life here. Offering a bed and food to the girl she could pay either by helping around or as she collects prizes from the quests.

  _Even though she definitely has the capabilities to earn money by herself she'd still beg for some to the people she knows.
