Like so many things in life, this is Madonna's fault.I bought 'The Confessions Tour' CD/DVD on a whim, and loved two numbers in particular: 'La Isla Bonita' and 'Music Inferno', which is a disco version of her song 'Music'. At the start of 'Music Inferno', all the dancers are on roller skates.
So that got me thinking, and when I was done, I had 3/4 of Gorillaz on roller skates. (Sorry, Russ.) Here's Noodle. She looks like she's having fun!
Done with a mechanical pencil/ number 2 pencil.

What strikes me is that Noodle has a rather large jaw, but still manages to be adorable. It's pretty tough to carry off. I'm always tempted to try to make it smaller, and then I lose the "Noodleness".

I have a few drawings where I made her jaw *too* big, and she winds up looking about twenty years older. There's a delicate line between cute Noodle and scary Noodle.
