Description
After doing a bit of digital art, I wanted to get back to doing some traditional.
I took the chance to practice with Copic markers and my inspiration was something i have had in the works for a long time my favourite two characters from the Darkstalkers series. Here is my tribute to Jon Talbain and Felicia!

On a side note I donβt like how the scanner picked up the colours so i will reupload once i get my old scanner back.

I honestly think it's very very very good. you have the right colors, good with the details, and I like the background. you are a very bad ass artist. very bad ass. hopefully you would draw more of Talbain and Felicia. they are meant to be together and yes they have their differences and similarities but they still like each other. no one should fuck with love because love is love, male or female, young or old, human or furry, gay, straight, bisexual, pan sexual, or hell even asexual. love is love and no one should fuck with it.

Wow...what an emotional picture...Looking at this makes me think of all those romantic scenes in movies and whatnot. Like a song just ended and this is what is in Felicia's head.
Using the DreamWorks logo as a start-up to your finished design is truly an interesting but impactful decision. The color choices also work very well here, however I think a bit more work on the shadows would have brought it out a bit more. And some of the anatomy is a bit wonky, however I only noticed it when I looked at it through a critique's eyes so don't worry about it too much
Seriously though, outstanding work! One of my favorite JonxFelicia pictures by far!

I do like the whole Dreamworks pose, and the 'ship itself, but if you want me to be honest, you do have some distinct proportion issues, especially regarding Jon (his head is way to big, and his body proportions just don't add up). For Felicia, there are some unnecessary details about her, such as the way her ears are blended together with her headband, and her blue eyebrows. Also note that she does not seem to have an even number of toes for each foot. Nevertheless, I think it is a great attempt at drawing, and you should try drawing more to improve yourself.

I pretty much agree with 's critique.
Jon's Proportions are really out there. His legs are way too small compared to his upper body and especially his head.Β
For Felicia, she could stand to have a bit of curvature. The arm fur stripe is too high, too.
