A new variant of mantabu has been discovered! Sleeper Mantabu forage along the seafloor of shallow to mid-deep ocean with their sensitive whiskers to hunt for worms and other buried snacks. They tend to have shorter antennae and more rounded fins, and have a circular dorsal fin as well as tail fins. They are slightly larger than normal mantabu and can discharge small amounts of electricity to stun their prey.

Silver Shallows
This mantabu lives in glassy waters and is rather shy but will warm up to you if you tempt them with food! They have a shifting, pearlescent sheen to their skin.
