I guess you'd call this a DTIYS? I was trying to redraw a scene from Sonic X. I used a screenshot for reference.Sonic has always been one of those comfort characters for me. I rarely ever post my artwork of him because it's usually sketches. I noticed a pattern with all my sonic drawings and I usually start drawing him to get out of an art funk. This is one of the first Sonic drawings I've done in a while that I actually colored and I thought it came out looking ok. Not exactly like the scene, but I thought I got pretty close.
Did anyone else watch Sonic X? It's a bit cheesy, but I think it followed the games pretty well.
Sonic belongs to Sega. The character design is not my own, but the art above is.
