Description
This is my rendition of an anime girl.I had the concept of a slightly cyberpunk club/bar/pub with a hint of 50's diner elements, but in a future where the "street" scene is still very much active. I thought it'd be pretty cool to have the juxtaposition of stickers and colors in the background against the futuristic sleekness of the couch and the cute girl.
Placing those stickers was just as calculated as placing them in real life!
Colors coming SOON!
(I might make the colored version a print if it comes out decent enough, more info on that later!)

Yes the stickers are bada$$. I recognize several brands. I don't know many artists that are streetwear enthusiasts. It's either one or the other. Β I also like the overall concept. I'm all for the urban future. I'll be sure to add you on the other sites.

Thank you! Nice, I'm glad they were recognizable enough. I suppose it's a weird combination being into art and fashion / streetwear lol, but I dig it. I view them both as art forms. I'm all for it too. I was hoping we'd all be more advanced by now, actually!

The 2 are most definitely one in the same. I've noticed streetwear designers are into art, but usually not the case the other way around. Understandable, but it's best to broaden the horizon which in case i did with streetwear.Β yeah everyone expected robots and flying cars, lol.
I have one thing that i'm kind of still working on. My stuff is much for fashion focused even if it's for an OC. This is the only one i've colored. Came out weirder than I thought but i'm experimenting right now. I hope to catch up with the other characters sooner or later:

You have cool ideas, and it seems you're not afraid to push out of your comfort zone. Just keep pushing that, the rest will come with time. You can't "learn" creativity but you can always update your technical skills

I think i'll start an idea session when i am in a place i can't draw. Just start writing down cool ideas and see if i can develop them visually. Thank you for hitting me back up.

lol, but yeah, love is love bro-man. It wasn't too bad, the placement was all me, the sticker selection is real. There's some of my own designs mixed in there, but whatever isn't mine is a real sticker, or based on a real design. I draw so slow - my patience needs to be on point lmao!
Dude, I'm working on some color tings as we speak, but I always feel like its kicking my ass. I can do it analog style, but the digital ish gets me all confused and worked up :/ I was going to have my girl color this one, but I decided I wanted to push myself to figure it out. So here I am, trying to delve into color theory as I hobble my way through these colors. I'll send you a preview pic in a bit.
