The thunder of cannons. The crackling of shields. The claxon and chatter of damage control.
Overwhelming clamor filled the ship, it’s hull shuddering under the force of its arsenal unloading. The stakkato of their ionterceptors was broken only by the clap of broadside cannons kicking back against their cradle.
White and yellow fire filled the screens, the ship engulfed in flashes and flames as it sent fire towards the enemy. Through the clouds of jamming and distortion, operators called out hits in quick succession. A single display showcased the foe’s black silhouette, the distant ship heaving to, readying to return fire in kind.
