Here, on the brink of the cosmic glacier, they wether the cold in a solar storm. In spaces where few ships could ever follow, the chosen of the Cult Mechnaicus Cambria prove their worth in the eyes of the Omnissiah, for his blessing ensures the functioning of their machinery and spares those souls aboard despite their dependence on fragile flesh and bone.
Red hot metal gleaming becomes the banner of the martian cult, their machine spirits reminded of the forge fire wherein they were born. And amid all these unleashed, formless energies, there lies greater truth in the breath of stars, wisdom preserved from the times of their birth, before the advent of the Imperium, before even the first expanse of humanity fell. The machine servants know, those stars saw all the kin of the Omnissiah rise and fall, the lineages of humanity growing, straining and failing before the judgment of these stars.
