Description Forged from the ores of worlds under far distant stars, the first Tarchia Class cruisers to arrive in Sector Gondwana were gifts to the Forge World Cambria from a distant, allied clade of the Omnissiah's Martian Empire. Those ships, only half a dozen of their kind, had been requested by the Archmagos of the Cambrian Clades after half a century of archival studies devoted solely to the revival of an ancient pattern.
The Archmagos believed those gifted ships shared kinship with a newly recovered, yet highly degraded Cambrian pattern found in one of countless ruins on the ring. Thus, he set a legion of shipwrights to work on the newly arrived Tarchia Cruisers, so that they may learn the mysteries of their spirits, their history, and construction.

No less than two centuries were spent studying those vessels in the greatest possible detail. Each became a city, an entire nation devoted to this technological archeology, and the shipwrights of Annumaru were restless at work transferring the knowledge gained from those vessels to the ancient pattern plans the vaults of Cambria held.
Their long work was rewarded, when the logic machines of Port Annumaru finally accepted the reconstructed pattern, and the spirits of the Ring blessed the return of a pattern with their grace. Once more, the Forge World Cambria had won a battle in the endless war against oblivion, raising from the fragmented memories of ancient technological ruins, a worthy reconstructed pattern – and a new ship to be built in their harbor.

The Cambrian-Pattern Tarchia was revealed to be a vessel of remarkable durability, resilient and strong, well-made in the image of its hallowed ancestry. Since the first of its kind was finally conceived in the halls of Port Annumaru, an endless line of new iterations followed. By the 41st Millennium, the Classis Cambria had raised seven fleets dominated by Tarchia vessels and added squadrons of that class to nearly every major formation. A new backbone to the Forge World's strength, and a symbol of the brotherhood's triumph over entropy and decay.
