Hey! Hello everyone!Still in the XMEN vibe, we got invited to work on Ultimate XMEN 01 vol2! It'll be on sale around Sept, and the story and art are GREAT!
I simply love love love working on the XMEN.
Paco Medina chose simpler lines for this piece so i tried to do simpler cuts to achieve a good balance and keep it simple, easy to read. Not really sure about those clouds, but as usual, this was colored under a very rushed schedule (i know that's no excuse, sorry).
I hope you enjoy this piece. No moody colors, just pop RGBSEX.

I think you've done a great job. I love the brighter colors on the characters with the darker and more muted tones in the back. It really makes the foreground pop! Well done!

Great poses and action. The front character seems very myschevious (Quicksilver?) I am so behind on current events in Marvel....

I think it's nice to see the Ultimate universe giving fresh new talent for the penciling and writing to just let them get crazy and tell good stories withouth having too much of continuity fear, the cover here is great, it shows Quicksilver with a menacing look as the X-Men are seemingly chasing him, and Kitty's red "Shroud" costume is pretty cool, i think she'll be the vengeful badass, which is quite funny since Wolverine's son is there, but he has no past tragedies or anything, i wanna see him representing what a happy Wolverine withouth huge amounts of revenge and anger would be, a "hero" wolverine pretty much.
