Having just finished Hound of the Baskervilles, I think this fits the description of the hound a lot better than other depictions I've seen. Most people like to make it look like some sort of wolf, but the book specifically mentions the dog as being like a bloodhound/mastiff mix. The eyes and mouth glowing with phosphorus and ruffled bits of fur really complete the look. Very cool.

It's true! I was inspired by the dog of Batman beyond. I drew this after reading the book. I have been thinking in a digital new version. Maybe in the next year... Thanks for comment!

Yes, it is possible. But if you look Batman Beyond, Bruce Wayne's dog is a Great Dane. Despite being good dogs, have an intimidating size.
