I basically make about $6,000-$8,000 a month online. Itβs enough to comfortably replace my old jobs income, especially considering I only work about 10-13 hours a week from home. I was amazed how easy it was after I tried itβ¦β¦β¦COPY AND PASTE...............HERE Β www.GeoSalary.com

God, I can only imagine the engineering that has to go into making foldable propellers. Wouldn't be the first time. I'm sure the US Military invested a lot of money to do the same thing for rotors on their helicopters.

If a concept similar to this isn't already in use by today's Red Cross/Crescent and MSF for conflict zones and besieged areas, I'd hope it would be, and soon.
I know that much more sophisticated ships fly around the world to perform heart and eye surgeries, et.al., but this is a very nice concept for practically all general hospitalization, especially in the case of old-time "meatball surgery". Love your work!

This is very cool. I would propose that the OR be moved to inside the structure; MASH units back in the day used to seek out sites for deployment that had buildings suitable for surgery, and only used tents when no other option was available.

I love the idea and how you've thought of air conditioning under the door folds, the lighting and solar panels; all really good.
Sorry I have to spoil good feedback, but I can't help but suggest a few things:
- You'd be better off with military style cots for the beds as they'd take up less room
- Your pilots might need to be doctors as well, as you might not have room for passengers
- Might suggest a slightly wider fuselage to accommodate greater carrying ability for the batteries, fuel and supplies

Thank you r3b3r53d for your critique. You got good points here. And yeah pilots are doctors since this project is set in post word-wide disaster setting with very little amount of humans left. And last (still functioning) civilisation gathered its forces to go into rescue operations all around world's devastated regions.

this is a really good idea. Β as a vtol aircraft this would be amazing aircraft gets to village, finds a small landing area and quickly lands and sets up a mobile hospital. why is this not a thing that we have?
π: 1 β©: 1
Anzac-A1 In reply to Heiryuu [2014-09-24 06:11:26 +0000 UTC]
I suspect that it would be too technically complex. Also, I doubt the plane itself has room inside to carry all of the beds and equipment along with the tent-style walls. Still, a great idea nonetheless.

Heiryuu In reply to Anzac-A1 [2014-09-25 05:27:34 +0000 UTC]
upon thinking about it last night i figured out that in order to carry the equipment and staff seen here. the plane would need to be 747 sized at least. that said there is no reason why we shouldn't try to do something similar on a smaller scale. Β actually come to think of it a 6 engine turbo prop would mean that the plane is rather large to begin with.Β
π: 0 β©: 1
Anzac-A1 In reply to Heiryuu [2014-09-25 06:52:02 +0000 UTC]
And there's now way a plane the size of a 747 could land on a short runway, unless it had much more powerful engines and/or larger wings. Although water injection would help to a certain extent.

Heiryuu In reply to Anzac-A1 [2014-09-27 02:31:36 +0000 UTC]
exactly my point. when i said 747 i meant 737 but the point still stands. also there was an idea for a rocket boosted
c-130 that could land inside a soccer stadium and take off again absolutely badass idea, but failed the last few days of testing.Β

holy crab! Uncle Sam needs YOU! from the look of the scale, this would be a practical and cost effective way to get a mobile field hospital on the ground within a day. only foreseeable setback would be the need for a runway.
