Well, I was playin on Halo Custom Edition for once in like 2 years. And noticed all of the troop warthogs made all suck. No offense to the creators. So I imported the halo 1 warthog into 3ds max (because i couldnt be bothered to start from scratch.)Then I just made it a bit more beasty looking and bigger. Then added some seats in the back, and I made a civi version.
Well, you can see the out come. Looks okay for a quick modification I think. I will texture it, I just really cant be arsed to unwrap it.
Btw, the back roll cage is a mimic of the Halo 3 Troop Hog.

How did you import a old halo one warthog (or anything) into 3ds max? I didn't even know that was possible. Could you theoretically replace or update the old one in game with a modified version that was done up in 3ds max first?

Used an importer made by a community member to import the gmxmodel into 3ds max. And yes you could replace and update the old model with the updated one but it isn't simple.

God, I rembure playing maps with warthogs like theses but well that was in near 2000's

So I saw these in your sig on Modacity... Gonna be honest. I don't like them. Look fat. I see a crap load of bad smoothing. Mud flaps clearly taken from our HRH mod. Tiny step up on the side looks like it would be difficult to step on, would make more sense if it was the length of the bottom. Intake vents on the front are... I don't know, shaped funny. The tires remind me of that old RC car you could drive up a wall and it would flip and go the other way. In other words, they're way too big and tubby looking.
I would suggest starting over.

Potential Halo 4 hog? Lol. It makes it look more 26th century, modern military looks. Awesome work
