I have this thing for pairing my OCs with minor/unappreciated characters. Because I find it a good challenge to write and I don't want my characters to come off as Mary-Sues or Gary-stus.
Ukraine and California surprisingly have a lot in common. Both are big sisters, make profits from farming/agriculture, overalls, etc.
