Description
This is for Miisu, winner of the 100,000 kiriban prize.
Kikuya is her fascinating oc dragoness, I painted her in the water because in the East dragons are associated with this element. Patterns on her robe features Carps and clouds (on the collar) referring to the old belief about Carps that turns into Dragons.
Her garment is freely inspired to the style of the sengoku period (1467-1573), a kosode with large bodice and short sleeves (the obi is below waterline, being only a narrow strip of fabric).
I hope that Miisu will like my efforts, and of course all of You too!!
