Description I've been meaning to draw a Smeargle for a while now. Or, to be precise, I've always pictured a badass Smeargle being all badass and such... Hope you don't mind the profanity.

Update: whoops, forgot the pawpad under his left foot. It's fixed now.

Precision Profanity is always okay ;3

The dude looks exactly the kind of person you want to see lose his cool and watch the continent turn around.

In many teen anime series where everyone is playing the same game, there's always gonna be a dude who took the game too seriously. He always felt that everyone else are not playing it right; he's so good that he became utterly bored from a lack of challenging opponents; and when he and the main character met for the first time, he made a fool out of the main character, who sworn to beat him in the future.

If the PokΓ©mon anime series has no humans in it, and if every match is more akin to a martial arts tournament where every PokΓ©mon throw their own best attacks to win, then this Smeargle would be that dude.

I came up with this pic because Smeargles are able to express their thoughts via drawings, thanks to their painterly tail. If a Smeargle has an attitude problem, this is what he'd write.

So basically Smeargles are opened from large metal cans, labelled "Naturally Flavoured WUP ASS".

I bet he knows some wicked moves.

I read that Smeargles have a unique ability called Sketch, which allows them to practically copy any moves from the current Pokemon they're fighting against. Since I don't play the games, this is just my speculation at best.

You got it right. Whenever they level up, they learn the move sketch and you can use it to copy any Pokemon moves you want until Smeargle reached a certain level and stop learning it.

The Pokemon graffiti artist at work! Ha ha! I could imagine what it's trainer thinks after seeing this.

Thanks! Well, I wasn't even thinking about trainers and stuff when I drew this pic, only thinking about drawing a badass Smeargle simply because I felt like it. Though, if he does have a trainer, that trainer must be a very badass person, too, to have trained his Smeargle like that.

You don't mess with Smeargle.

That's quite an original PokΓ©mon, using his own tail as a paint brush. I've never seen him before, he's really cool ^^ Heh, seeing the message he wrote here kinda reminds me of the crazy things asylum patients may right in their rooms.Β

Thanks! Well, Smeargle isn't the only character to have a tail for a paintbrush. There's also Amaterasu from the game Okami: part of the game's mechanic is using her tail to draw certain symbols that cause certain magical effects to happen.
