Description Bic Pen around 8 hours total

People around us are nothing more than a background in a world full of anonymity. Until you really pay attention, they're not even names and faces.

I chose to make the outer right edge very abstract to exclaim the idea that, people we could potentially see everyday are just a background to our life. Like on a subway car.

Wow, such a wonderful image and done with a pen! I love the attention to detail, and the slightly off kilter look to the image. This is a stunning deviation!

Thanks, so much, friend! That was a bit of a secondary plus, when I tried showing the concept of people being backgrounds in our lives. haha Sometimes basic concepts generate interesting visual augmentations, I suppose.

haha Yeah, it was certainly a challenge. You may want to check out Juan Franciso Casas; he does suuuuper detailed and realistic portraits in blue bic pen. That's where I got the inspriation to try realism, in the medium. Look his stuff up on google.

thanks. =] benoitpaille's photo just made me think of how anonymous the world really is. we have such a small group of people we truly know compared to the amount of people we see in our daily lives. its incredible to think about.
