Wow I haven't drawn (or even sketched or anything) in almost three weeks, it's been really getting to my head.Midterm season is just about over now, so I'll only have a few heavy assignments from here until finals. Maybe I'll be able to draw on weekends again
My style makes very weird abrupt changes when I take long breaks from art; it's actually very interesting to observe haha. I've been wanting to draw rocks and little streams for a few days because of a cute little tune that's been stuck in my head, but I didn't really have a plan for where I was going with this piece when I started. I splotched blue and brown on the canvas, and then basically improvised from there
Also, how are you? How is everything going?

Next year is technically the last year I need to do math, but the world is scarier without the math, so I plan on piling it into electives.

Yep. They are called olympiads here, but I tend to adapt the wordings for those who aren't familiar with the concept, and then even when someone knows what they are I go on calling these "contests" xD They were not that hard this year; at least I'm more or less sure I didn't fail severely. First place in English confirmed, waiting for all the other results, keke

Hah that's a very sad thing about how work seems to be. Students and employees alike, the hours a person is expected to spend working are very wrong. (I'm going to leave that there before I go into a full rant)
I'm glad we agree math is fun. Wait till you see calculus, I think you in particular would find it very fun and useful. with calculus you can pretty much structure the entire world.
Hard but fun sounds like the best kind of contest if you ask me! Stays with you for the next couple of days as you slowly figure out the things you may have missed on it.

Well, haha, guess the hours are counted for perfectly healthy people not ever busy with anything else than work and education.
I'm pretty much waiting for it xDD Not the biggest fan of randomly jumping through the curriculum, but it should come in quite soon.
Yup ;p Especially considering that every time there's a task that touches upon the things appearing in the end of textbooks - we are not supposed to know it at all judging by teachers' plans, hah. There's always a lot to figure out, no matter how smart you are.

"Perfectly healthy" and "never busy with anything other than work" are mutually exclusive statements, but somehow you're right about that haha.
Having a lot to figure out is the fun part!
