I really like this piece! How did you manage the fine details on the bones? Was it half bake or heat gun or just super careful? I have been working on a large piece and have been having issues with the super fine details.

I want to get into sculpting, and I know that art is a continuous process of improvement, but are their any tips that you could dispense to a novice? P.S. I'm working right now with oil-based clay dough, like what you buy at wal*mart

Awesome texture work. I also like the prominence of the bony forms of the skull. This dragon is very reptilian on the outside, but in terms of its skull structure, it's very mammalian. I like that combination.

Impequeibol!

Hey, great work! Awesome textures...
I have a question for you. When you are finished sculpting, do you make a resin cast of it?... or do you just dry the clay and paint it?
I usually use air-dried clay which looks nice enough when painted. Just asking around.
...again, awesome
