That's a great work! Is it supersculpey?

Great work. The clothing is out of this world.

It's the antique fabric from Nicolai II court, which is fantastic!

Both are dolls - though she seems to be more such - than he! (No. 6 was a decent politician though, and his relative - she did good.) The details on the dress and facial expressions are stunning!!!! Personally I wouldn't mind such a fluffy feather in my cap, ha!

And the pants OMG! Don't forget about the pants!!! Beside that I love the fashion back then, men look so gorgeous and solemnly.
I'm happy that you can see the "doll" message that I've tried to make, her expression gave me some headaches too

Ach, but you've resolved the whole composition splendidly!!!

... I like that fashion because men showed some serious leg! Henry's calves

were considered a prize in those days, he displayed them proudly!

All the more hurt his pride when his legs went all leaky and rotten ....

Oh yeah, baby!!! Horse riding these days was good for the figure too!
Most men were fit back then, but Henry was a very heavy guy with some serious health problems, such as poor knees and an open wound in his hip!

I really admire the details. It obviously took you a massive amount of time and effort to make it this realistic. And they both have their personalities expressed, I like that most of all. Kudos!

Thank you, actually I've tried to make a funny figure, but the realistic style of it and the amount of details removed the humor, I guess

He looks rather like those paintings of Henry VIII, but I suppose that's appropriate in a way. Was it intentional?

MarylinFill In reply to namelessdaydreamer92 [2017-02-03 07:40:23 +0000 UTC]

Of course, since Henry was one of the prototypes for the original fairy tale She also kinda reminds of Anna Bolein, his second wife

Yeah she does look like her, now that you mention it. I really like it. I also did not know the fairy tale was based on him, but it makes so much sense. Learned a new thing! thanks for that
