This is the first painting I can truly call my own. I've always been scared to create something original without directly copying a reference image. The unknown is intimidating, but I knew I'd need to get over the unknown to develop as an artist. So, I kept drafting over and over, analyzing everything like a madman until I finally found something that worked. This experience has shown me the true extent of my artistic skills, and it's opened up a completely new world for me. There is still so much to learn. This is just the beginning.
