Description
I wanted to express a festive and cheerful spring atmosphere with these cute flowers.It's a shame that my digit camera can't capture the delicate shades of the white flowers, though.

Awesome as always Masa!!! The back ground truly enhances the over all subject. And I feel your pain over the whole digital camera thing.
I have taken some of my larger pieces of work to Kinkos in the past to copy down into a smaller size (letter size paper). What ever copiers / scanners they use enhance or color correct my color works. Then I scan it in on my HP Scanjet 3970. Kinkos has gotten a little pricey as of late just as an FYI.

Hey that is why we are here. To share experiences and help each other as artists. I am hanging in there, new class starts this week. It is going well so far. I have resumes out from New York City up through the New England states. Looking forward to moving back to the northeast.
Looking forward to some more of your work. It makes me appreciate the small things in life we sometimes take for granted. Keep in touch.

white bells dangling in the wind... even though they're droopy and seem as if lacking energy the emotion they give not just for the mere fact that they are beautiful flowers but also the way you've captured the moment... instilling in us... or at least in me, the beauty and passion of a single moment in time. moment. in nature.

I hesitated to upload this painting at the beginning because my digital camera didn't capture the real colours of the white flowers-- they have more colours on their surfaces, but I ended up uploading it! lol If you felt a spring atmosphere in the painting, my mission is completed!

The branch of the white flowers is so delicate and beautiful. I love the subtle variations within the watercolour. And I find cameras rarely able to capture the true colours of paintings, but I still get a great sense of the shading you did within the white. They're very lovely.

I always hate to pass watercolor paintings to DA cause they loos many details... so I undestand about the shadows, really cool painting and in the background, did you use alcohol to separate like that???

Yeah, you can say that again. It's very hard to express the true colours of watercolour paintings in the website. Thank you very much for your kind comment, Urisesu-kun! No, I didn't use alcohol in the painting. It's just a simple wet on wet technique.
