I bought this model just to paint it
I don't play any Dark Angels or team up with them so this was just for me and just for fun!
Took me quite a while because I just painted it when I was bored or didn't want to paint another mini

Well, in fact I play Space Wolves, which means their foes in the chapter, but that mini was fun to paint anyways

Wow... you must have had alot of patience to do the white on the winged helm. Also how'd you do the effect on the blade?

Yes, patience was needed on the whole model
Tha blade was ... kinda difficult, because I tried myself in wetblending which didn't work that well.
So I painted the white part, the black part and the grey part in the middle (Yes, no metal tones used!) and tried to blend them with really thinned colours with alot of water and just a little paint. That was the hardest part of the Angel, because I've never done this before!
