Why is Twilight having a hard time with flying in the movie? In the last episode of season 3, she flew just fine! Hopefully in season 4, she'll get some flight training from Rainbow Dash. Really nice job on this!

There's like 5 seconds (from where this comes from) which appears to be new animation (the rest of the shots look more like Twilight w/ wings pasted on). Whether this is new S4 footage or not, we don't know.

I think she cant use magic and fly at the same time so she will mostly stick to the ground almost all the time.

I was wondering if it was a slightly reworked shot from one of the Crystal Empire episodes, but I'm too lazy to investigate.

The general consensus is that it is new animation during those 5 seconds (the other shots of Twily in that are standard animation + wings pasted on), but Twilight flailing like that is very new.
