was scrolling, trying to figure out about anti's wings, and stumbled upon THIS. now dont get me wrong, this is absolutely amazing, and you have amazing talent, but i don't under stand. Adam came out of a square!?

Uhm... I don't know if i'm right with this but what i am taking away from this, is that it plays with the phrase that god created adam after his image. I don't know the exact quote in english but i guess it translates kind of to that.Β Β
So to get a little deeper into interpretation:
Adam can't possibly have a mother that birthed him. He was basically birthed out of an idea, a mental image. What represents an image without having to put a random picture? A picture frame. So i guess that's what is going on here ^^
I could go on about how he drops out of the frame head first, like babys would get born.
He is screaming leading us to believe the process is painful, that everything is so messy could be because he was literally the first, so nothing was clear cut, nothing planned out, nothing perfect...
Interesting piece of Art.
I hope this cleared the confusion at least a bit. I claim in no way to understand the artists intentions but that is what i interpret into this.
