I was reading a little stuff about ghosts and shadow people and a couple things about shadow people reminded me of these characters with the shape shifting and them attaching to people being part of what shadow people do. Read something about them needing a lot of energy to appear with colour so most of the time they are just black. Apparently, some people don't think they're just evil spirits or ghosts and think that they could be beings from another dimension or planet entirely so that also reminded me of how Anti and Dark seem to be from another world or something like that. It said that people thought they could be from a parallel dimension where they live their lives a lot like ours I think, but have free will so some are good and others bad. I don't remember fully, but there was also something about them not liking humans and feeling superior to us because of their abilities and free will maybe. This is more religious based, but it said that "God cast them out of this world until 'judgement day.'"Β It said that ones that are neutral or harmless might have a guardian type purpose and role. Some stuff from it just reminded me of these characters.Β
