Description
One of my first (good enough for public) doodles, something that has been in my head for a while now I wanted to show that feeling I had when I was feeling low, like everything that defined me was being drained away by my mental health and holding onto it was desperately futile.

The cuts both a reflection of my urge to self mutilate as an escape and a way of describing a wound, the golden smokes hope ebbing away and the hand in rough greyscale to remove details besides depth besides faint patches of blue. I kept the line work as admittedly I was rather proud of it but also because I wanted it to look defined and physical around the smoke and blood that are just imagined.
