This one ... I've got to say, I'm pretty proud of it. Mostly I just wanted to see if I could achieve a painterly look in photoshop like I was imagining. And I did, thanks to an effects brush and some patience. I made some transparent curtains - colored them and everything but they just weren't working with the moonlight like I had hoped. It turned out though pretty much exactly how I imagined it. I've gotten pretty good at that over the years. I'll look back at this one and remember how long it took me to get here, and how hard I worked.
I've named this piece "Glory" after the character I took the hairstyle from - a very old animated feature - late 1939 I think, when other studios were trying to compete with the success of Snow White.
The mascara running isn't her only flaw. Can you spot the other one?
