Description Thatchezberry tavern Maids wear this dress in honor of a six year old girl who once ate the magical berry unknowing of it's affects. She hid in a clump of Thatchezberry vines after being chased by a wolf, she ate two berries and fell alseep. Twelve years later she woke at the age of eighteen and was found by the young son the tavern owner, naked and wandering confused in the woods. She had out grown her clothes and had nothing to wear so she covered herself with her long hair and tried to find her home again. He gave her his cloak so she could cover herself and then took her into town, once she told of what happened folks didn't believe her including the tavern owner, so they made her eat another berry against her will and she again fell into a deep sleep. The women of the town cursed the tavern owner for doing this to the young woman and put her in a bed in one of the tavern rooms and cared for her until she woke again six years later, and now 24 years old. The girl was six years old trapped in a 24 year old woman's body and had a terrible time coping with all the issuse she now faced. The women of the village all took her in and cared for her understanding her plite and also of fear of what dirty old men might do to her due to her innocence and being a gulibly six year old in mind. Her name was Kaitra and she found out that her mother had died of grief a couple years after loosing her little girl to the wolf, and so Kaitra was on her own. The story is a tragedy and a lot of the young girl's life is filled with one tragedy after another and of course the ending is a tear jerker as well, needless to say. I drew the tavern maid from a neighbors granddaughter who wanted to pose and had herself drawn, she's seventeen and very sweet girl. Oh and the wolf of the tale has a story in it as well, as does another little girl who ate some of the berries, and the sorcerer who created the magical bush. Sorrow for everyone involved. Writen by a woman named Abigal Stone, I illustrated a couple stories for her she wrote and decided to do this one after reading some of the story while I waited for her to okay some of my other work.

This is really great, the fine detail on her hair, face and outfit are very impressive.

Thanks, I went by the description Anibelle Stone gave me to draw her character. She had a certain looks she wanted for this barmaid and she liked the results also.

Thank you very much, I was trying to get the dress down the way Abigail explained it, she was happy so I was too.
