Just to be clear, I did NOT make the linearts for this, only the colors are mine.I don't know who did the lineart but this thing keeps getting posted on /tg/, and when someone had done a pretty hack job of inking it, I figured I'd throw some colors down on it for a lark.
Does anyone know the original artist for the lineart? And for that matter, if someone could explain that annoying "so tsundere" meme for I'd appreciate that too.
Yes, it's a Tau, and yes, it's most likely commander Shadowsun. I guess she's field testing some new suit tech.

The original creator of the lineart is Gannadene, and his DA account goes by that name. He has some cool stuff to look at, including more of this Shas'O.

From what I heard, this lineart was drawn as a demo for a Tau Model. The final model was smaller than a penny. Looked awesome, too. Wish I could tell you more.

I've seen the model, but I understood it differently.. I was under the impression that the modeller came across the sketch on 4chan (like I did) and decided to make a model based on it, not that the sketch was made specifically for the model.
Ah well, what would life be without its little mysteries, eh?

One of the guys on Tau Online seems to know the original artist, he made a sculpt of it. I think he said 'a friend' was responsible for the lineart.

Very nice picture indeed. She's really nice with all that armor off (even if a bolter will now do a quick job of her xD).
About the autor, I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but the original O'shaserra (yes, this is her real name, gue'la, and you should start calling her like that or you'll suffer the wrath of the greater good!!!) art ,the one in the Tau Empire Codex, is MG, an artist who has drawn lots of warhammer special characters, units and other stuff. And about the Tsundere, is the kind of girl in an anime who is hostile and a bit rough but arriving to a point she shows that inside her there is luv ^^ (For example, Asuka from Evangelion, Sakura from Naruto or Naru from Love Hina). Hot tempered girls, in fact xD

As for Tau, yeah, well it IS Tau armour and armaments, but... why does she have 4 fingers on her right hand and 5 on her left? Tau only have 4 digits a hand, if we're talking canon.
