Lilith Amaranth Fellstar, born on the turn of the tenth millenium AD, was found at the age of five playing amongst the ruins of felled Eternal Crusader by the Grey Templar, who deemed her a ready recruit to their cause.Over the next fifteeen years of her life she would be trained in murderous extremes by day, whilst study tactics, martial-arts, religion and history by night. Not to mention she was genetically enhanced with the very essence of the Matriarchs, the chosen disciples of Astarte, and was conditioned to be totally impassive and fearless in battle. Even sights and horrors that would send even the boldest of men into reeling bouts of madness have no sway over her. At the age of twenty, she donned her armour and was immediately pressed into service, as a Grey Templar, part of the order that acts as an elite taskforce for the Dominion.
Faithful, focused and uncompromising, Lilith is willing to go to extreme lengths to prove herself in the eyes of her peers, her God and a species she swore to protect, that will probably hate her for all she does.

I have to agree that she does look a bit like Eldar... Even the Inquisition symbol looks alien (plz dont purge me, kthnx)
Maybe if it was greyer or just less shiny. It looks great but not really grey templars. Maybe if there was more body to the armour even SoB's aren't that skinny.

Okay... this is not a warhammer pic. I thought I was clear on this. I understand what you are trying to say, and I do take your critiquing with heart. However, just because I do Warhammer art, doesn't mean that every single thing I draw is inspired or has been done in the same vein as it, nor do I appreciate it when you constantly use warhammer references to comment on this. This drawing is around a concept for a comic I am doing that is more in the vein of Dune by Frank Herbert.

As a picture of itself, it looks quite fantabulous and I understand you've put quite a bit of work into the character. The gun looks great. The blue that runs through, is that the power source or what?
The legs looks a bit too long in proportion to the rest of the body.

Yes, I am terrible at making myself clear. So often I haven't said something that I should have.
Warhammer is a great inspriation (few scifi are as gritty or grimdark) but it is rather upsetting if people just associate all of your work on one thing. It is like being Pixar with a Bugs Life just after they made Antz, and you didn't even know about it.
Thanks for the input and your understanding. Blue lines are pretty much power-source and I tend to make legs very long and heads very small.

I don't like to think someone beat me to an idea or concept. It is impossible to create an idea absolutely new and original. Real creativity means taking inspiration and turning it into something that truly reflects yourself... or your client.

well an example would be this: A couple years ago i was inspecting something that looked like ceramic scale-mail and though "Why isnt there a body armor made of layers of scales like this?" Later on, tho, i realize that this has already been done, and it is called Dragon Skin. It's layers of ceramic plates in a kevlar vest, and even a grenade has a hard time punching through it.

Yes. Sadly, life keeps getting in the way of progress. That and poor artskills. UNTIL TODAY! When I became an unemployed student and quite convinced I can paint and draw well.

No seriously I think shes lovely, very good armour - you certainly got the varying shades of colour down whilst following your lightsource. She looks a bit like an Eldar too, so thats a plus! :3
May I ask though, when you say species, do you mean she protects humans? And is she not human then?
