Hey look, a new Sub-Series! Guess this one will document the changes for all of my characters the have the potential for something like this. First up is the guy I've been shoving into the light too much; Master.

CLASSIC MASTER (2009-2011)
Bio: The first incarnation of the Master, when he first entered the Master business. Taking the form of a being made of Chaos Energy, Master preferred to stay away from his creations to avoid any possible issues. This Master was overly jovial and enjoyed spreading joy and happiness to some people.
But, more often than not his experiences with the Masters outside of his world caused trauma and he had to be locked in a straightjacket a few times. He spent time in this form for a while, battling his Nega-Version and Eggman along with Sonic before he was nearly killed by X and taken to a hospital.
Powers: His powers were overly simple at this point and he only had the ability to create people, which he did to create Amber, his "pseudo-sister" that never got a chance to exist in the real world.
Assistant: N/A

NEW MASTER (2011-2013)
Bio: Sometime after the attack, Master's body was able to heal itself, but only the once, and change it's appearance to suit his true form a bit more. It also reset his mind slightly, so he forgot all the bad things from his previous form. This version thus retained his happy personality, but now had a habit of being among his creations, sort of living among them. It was also at this time that he found Becky, freezing to death in the snow, and decided to bring her to his base and nurse her back to health. As well as going on a few adventures and exploring the uses of TGhost, he lived overly carefree until the Sonamy incident, which pushed him over the edge enough to put him back into the straightjacket.
Despite that, it was revealed that the madness was synthetic, planted in his mind by X so he would not interfere with his plans. When the incident subsided, Master's mental state returned to normal, albeit at a fragile state, and he continued to supervise his universe with help from Becky to care for his mind. Unfortunately, Master's psuedo-sister, Amber was captured by a being calling himself "Delago", who proceeded to tie up Amber and, in his words, "give her a bath".
By the time Master managed to rescue her, she had long since drowned in the water tank that Delago had thrown her in, bound, gagged and with a weight tied to her feet. This revelation (and Delago's sexual lust towards the act) finally drove Master over the edge. He would later claim to be born in battle and became incredibly violent, determined to end the whole multiverse just for the hell of it.
Powers: Training from the Elder Masters allowed Master to use more of his powers, such as Super Speed, Flight and the ability to breath underwater. It was also around this time that he found the Blade of Hysteria, who's demon helped Master train his powers further.
Assistant: Becky

WAR MASTER (2013-2014)
Bio: After his mind truly snapped, Master donned some new gear and went on multiple rampages, disguised by his broken mind as adventures and mercy-killings. Three main "adventures" stick in the minds of Historians:
The Fall of the Archieverse: Master began to see the Archie universe as "unclean" and "unfixable" and decided to wipe it from the map. With the help of Lowell Highcastle(kidnapped by a version of Enerjak from before Master's downfall and subjected to amnesia) and Nikolai Pentreko, Master killed members of both the Egg Empire and the Freedom Fighters left, right and centre, before killing Sally Acorn and activating a Genesis Wave Device to destroy the universe. The event caused slight mental scarring for a lot involved, while Sally, Bunnie Rabbot, Lien-Da and Fiona Fox were either cloned or otherwise retrieved and lived on in the Universe 112233C, now under control of Becky.
The Lost Hex Event: Master entered a universe in the events of Sonic Lost World, killing the Zeti and preventing Sonic from reversing the Extractor, sucking the souls of the countless millions from the world below and reducing it to pure dust. Master seeked out the withered corpse of Amy Rose, thinking her as the perfect vessel for restoring Amber through fusing her soul and her own life force into Amy's body. Enraged by the event, Sonic used the sapped earth energy and entered a new form to stop him, but Master managed to subdue him and blow off both his kneecaps for his trouble. This act calmed Master down somewhat and allowed him to act more human, while the almost-dead Sonic survived the incident and managed to rebuild his world, becoming it's crazy dictator in the process. It is not known if the attempt to revive Amber succeeded or not.
The Knight Island Incident: When his insanity began to wither, Master became slightly more rational and attempted to help people escape the wrath of Delago, namely a version of Amy Rose. This, however, failed when Delago became aware of this and Master was forced to hire bodyguards to protect Amy, William Needlemouse and Dewitt Highcastle. Delago was also holding William's wife hostage for potential life-saving medicine, only to kill her in front of William when he finally located Amy on Knight Island. In return, William killed Amelia and Delago (though a lot slower) and was exiled from the timeline for it. Seeing someone else kill in cold (but well intentioned) blood shook some sense back into Master and he...somehow became sane once more.

Overall, his kill total went into the millions, though a large number of those killed were unnamed and eventually restored to life.
After the Knight Island incident, Master's rage finally subsided and his mind became clear. In incredible shock and regret for his anger-misted actions, he attempted to cover up his involvement in the whole thing, but was eventually seen as as guilty as the rest for bringing Delago there in his attempt to help, in part due to his previous death at his hands, meaning the Delago seen during the Incident was mainly an appiration of Master's waning rage and self-loathing. Distraught, Master finally gave up and let himself be captured by the Mobius One Protection Agency, who left him to be judged by the Elder Masters. This began his "retirement", stripping all his Master powers and throwing him into exile.
Powers: Master's powers were incredibly powerful at this point, fuelled by his rage and anger. These included Speed, Flight, Strength and the ability to conjure projectiles and lasers out of pure green energy. When captured by the Elder Masters, almost all of these powers were stripped from him.

RETIREMENT MASTER (2014)
Bio: Following his retirement, Master was stranded in another universe with access to his own blocked both directly and indirectly. After a few months of living among it's populace, Master came to realise that the Elder Masters had not wiped his memory for a reason; with his madness gone, Master could see every atrocity he had ever done as the "War" Master, in perfect clarity. It began to haunt him at every turn, coming close to driving him mad once more with despair. Luckily, the universe he had landed in had another version of him that never snapped and was instead a leader of a resistance group called the Reborn. If he assisted with some of their missions, his alternate promised a way to stave of the madness. Master complied and went about working for the Reborn, which his alternate rewarded with confiscating his blade and subjecting him to an Ultra Emerald, which wiped his memory completely. The alternate dumped him on another planet in yet another universe so he could start anew as their cult's psuedo-god.

After a while, however, the Blade was able to make it's way back to Master as the Cult's sacrificial knife and managed to convince Master to return to Earth and relearn enough of his history and become a better person to lift the exile. There, however, he was captured among three others by Eggman and forced to do his bidding, battling an ancient tribe known as the Marauder Outcasts for world domination. However, their leader attempted to drain the party's morale by showing them traumatic events from their pasts, Master among them. However, with help from the others, he overcame his past and managed to escape the force of Eggman and wipe out both sides of the fight. Once the party said their goodbyes and left, Master, now a much more level-headed and calm person, instead went to the Boomivese to relax until he saw himself fit to retake his position as Master.
Powers: Most of Master's powers had been sapped from him at this point, leaving only his portal-making ability and Hysteria mode. When his memory was wiped, he lost even those, though he would eventually regain the ability to enter his Hysteria form.
