Aspiration: Sahira wants to be a great Warlock Queen.

Personality: Bold, commanding, intimidating, unflinching. None of these words are applicable to Sahira. She is a somewhat timid and soft spoken woman, with a great responsibility thrust upon her. She is very gentle and kind, willing to help everyone around her. The sort of woman who would feed others from her own plat if need be. She can be fairly weak willed, and tends to go with what others insist of her. Sahira’s desire to be a Warlock queen seems to be heavily influenced by her older brother, though she seems convinced she wants it as well. She is shockingly bad at handling conflict, and will either give in to others, or deflect and run.

History: The younger of two children to a Gerudo couple, Sahira was abandoned at her grandparents farm one day when the two Gerudo women and their first born daughter simply left one day. The fathers of the two children were different, and some whisper that may have been the reason to take on and leave the other, but the truth will always remain in mystery. Sahira has grown up with the understanding her mothers and sister are very likely dead. Sahira stayed with her grandparents alongside her aunt, Soruma, who was only a few years older than her. When Soruma moved out, she took Sahira with her, as Soruma very much could tell Sahira was not farming material.

As Sahira grew, she was told ancient Gerudo legends of powerful warlocks in the race’s past who could do great and terrible things. While they were meant as cautionary tales, Sahira picked up a different lesson. The blight and the monsters, some whispered they originated from dark sorcery. If she became a warlock, would she not be able to control them? She could take over these chaotic and dangerous elements and force them to bend to her will. And if so, she could remove that threat from the world! With this realization, Sahira worked hard to rediscover the ancient Gerudo Magics from the legends.

It was during an impromptu magic lesson (goofing off on the outskirts of town) that a life changing event occured. The training, if it can be called that, was ill-educated attempt to cast spells, which was entirely Sahira standing in a field, arms outstretched, screaming and trying in vain to make anything happen. While shouting and flailing her arms like a seagull with its foot caught, some monsters snuck up on her childhood friend, Luko. Terrified and desperate, Sahira pointed at the monsters, still yelling and to the surprise of herself and Luko, fired a burst of light, destroying the monsters. While Luko was saved, Sahira was knocked unconscious by the unintended release of magical energies. While unconscious, she was informed by a heavenly voice that Sahira was a sage! The sage of light, no less! Before she could ask what that meant, much less wrap her head around it, she awoke in her home, to the smiling of her Aunt.

Since the awakening, Sahira has been trying to get a hold of just what being a Sage really means, while also practicing her magic, so that she can actually control it. Her dream of becoming the Warlock Queen is still at the forefront of her efforts, but now Sahira may have a new way of achieving it. Or, dare it be said, maybe she will have to get used to the idea that she cannot really be both Sage of Light and a dark sorceress, only time can tell.
