It's really wonderful 
I really like how you represented Kaylin's Erenne mark; it's discreet and elegant and really suit how I visualize something coming from a Barrani. Kaylin's Hawk uniform is also well done. And I love Lord Diamart; you can just guess his personality be looking at him
Will you also illustrate some scenes from Cast in Sorrow as you have done for Cast in Peril last year? I love Nightshade and Evarim

Thank you ever so much for your wonderful compliments. I am truly happy to hear that you enjoy my paintings for this series. It's such a pity there are so few artist's out there illustrating things for this. The Elantra books are really amazing!
As for Cast in Sorrow illustrations; I plan to do a few Cast in Sorrow illustrations (like you, I absolutely love Nightshade and Evarrim), but sadly lack of time currently prevents me to work on these. Hopefully though, soon.
Thanks so much for the link to the Sagara fansite. I am honored. I checked it out, and there's a comment you made here: "It’s also interesting that she represents the dragons in Asian’s clothes". It's all the covers' fault. The covers of the Elantra books contain an asian Pagoda-like structure, which I always took as representing either the Halls of Law, or the Imperial Palace. Either way, Asian in style. From the first time I saw the covers, I could not think of the Dragon Court as anything else but Asian in style. Also, the word "Emperor" helped this image strengthen in my mind. Lastly, I found it boring to imagine them in medieval robes. They are so unimaginative. lol. Asian style robes, on the other hand, are very opulent, rich and detailed looking. Most fitting for Dragons. Or at least, so I felt. The idea stuck. I can no longer imagine them in any other style robes, with the exception of Sanabalis, who mostly gets the typical Wizard robes with a touch of Asia to it. The Emperor I always dress in ancient Chinese style robes (with a few changes added, of course). The Arkon always gets Japanese-like kimono's, and Emmerian, Tiamaris and Diarmat get a more modern Chinese (cheongsam) style clothing. I do use medieval style clothing on armor. But you can see in it illustrated what I said above about the different styles I am using for each character.

As for Cast in Sorrow; oh yes, I was looking forward to it very much. Did you read the book? Did you like it? I loved pretty much all the book (especially since it was mostly about Barrani, which I love), but I missed the Dragons. My favorites... well, most, MOST favorite characters, are the Dragons.

I thought it was interesting - but I had some difficulty following all the strangeness in the Green... But all in all - I loved the Teela/Kaylin interaction! (I would love some fanart of Nightshade, Kaylin and Annarion at the end... hint hint hint...) <3
