i did this in a friend's book.unfortunately all the shots i got of it were blurry or overexposed. watercolor tends to be hard to capture.
so this will be going to scraps soon. sigh.

I love the contrast between the colorful, alive leaf and lower portion of the bird compared to the skull head. The heart also looks like it's going to seep right through the soft feathers of the bird. Perhaps I also like this because I have a decaying crow head sitting in a bucket in my kitchen at the moment...

I agree i always have a hard time capturing my watercolor art pieces.. they normally scan like shot or blurry.
but i dont think you should scrap this, its a bit different from your other pieces. i love variety..
its gorgeous btw.. i like the cross stitching
