Description
Alternate history:After WWII, in order to punish Germany, a new country for Sorbs is established: Socialist Republic of Lusatia (capital city: Cottbus [Chóśebuz]). German people is expelled except who are proven anti-fascists. A new standarization called Lusatian is created as official language mixing Lower Sorbian and Upper Sorbian languages. Görlitz area is annexed by Poland too. Lusatia would sign Warsaw Pact in 1955.

Cool, but I'm wondering why you'd make Cottbus the capital city. It actually is indeed the capital city of the Lower Sorbian area, but Bautzen / Budyšin was the center of the Upper Sorbian area and nowadays the Upper Sorbian is actually more alive than the Lower Sorbian.
In a real Socialist Republic of Lusatia, Upper Sorbian would become the main language and Lower Sorbian would disappear, only spoken by a few, and even their children would learn Upper Sorbian (instead of former learning German).
It would actually have been very cool.

I chose Cottbus because it is the most populated city in this region. That was my only motive.

In my ATL there were two autonomous regions in DDR, Upper Lusatia (Bautzen) and Lower Lusatia (Cottbus)

They (and I meant by the Sorbs) should have kept Görlitz. Though given the ethnic borders of the region, yeah. Nice idea anyways.
